Research group network meeting

On Friday 30th January 2015, the Chair took part in the fourth meeting of the working group for the Institute of Family Business’ Universities Network, which is developing a methodology for the future study of “The Family Business in Spain”. This is the most ambitious research project to date for the group (consisting of 36 Chairs across Spain) and its aim is to gain a realistic picture of the actual impact of family firms on the economy and the fabric of business in Spain, and to identify its principal characteristics. The meeting was hosted by the University of La Rioja and was attended by ten Chair directors from a number of Spanish universities and two representatives of the Institute of Family Business.
