Recordings of the New Bridges between Mathematics and Data Science conference are now available
The New Bridges between Mathematics and Data Science congress, held in Valladolid in November, has available to the public the recordings of the event that can be found on the YouTube channel of the Red Estratégica en Matemáticas – REM and on the NBMDS conference website.
Among the recordings, you can enjoy the plenary sessions by Joan Bruna (New York University), Coralia Cartis (University of Oxford), Marco Cuturi (Google Brain), Jeff Goldsmith (Columbia University), and Alfio Quarteroni (Politecnico di Milano).
In addition, the three round-tables that took place at the congress and the more than a hundred talks that were given at the thirty minisymposia are also available. In the last case, the videos have been published in podcast format.
The New Bridges between Mathematics and Data Science conference was held with the aim of bringing together researchers in mathematics, machine learning, and data science, to exchange ideas and make progress in building new bridges between these fields and to make visible the work already done.
Olatz Hernández (BCAM) and Paula Lomascolo (CRM).
