ABSTRACT
Theoretical fluid dynamics is a topic of huge current interest, with a history of more than three hundred years old, at the intersection of the physical area of fluid mechanics, the engineering of aero and hidro vessels, the analysis of partial differential equations and their numerical simulations. Recent years have brought a number of significant developments and new challenges, concerning a number of topics ranging from turbulent solutions to complex fluids.

The Bilbao Workshop on Theoretical Fluid Dynamics, hopefully, the first in a series to be continued in the coming years, aims to bring key contributors to the area, present recent advances in the area, and uncover main challenges at the edge of current research.

TOPICS
Weak solutions of Euler equations | Weak solutions of compressible complex fluids | Density-dependent and anisotropic fluids | Complex non-Newtonian fluids | Cahn-Hilliard Navier-Stokes systems
