Postdoctoral positions at LSU

The nuclear physics group at Louisiana State University is looking to fill three (3) positions for a Postdoctoral Researcher or Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in the area of experimental nuclear physics.  Our group's Research interests span the areas of nuclear structure, nuclear astrophysics and weak interaction processes.  A successful candidate will be expected to be involved in all aspects of these studies from developing instrumentation to the planning, execution and analysis of experiments using stable and/or radioactive ion beams.  Our experimental program will be centered around measurements at Argonne National Laboratory and Florida State University with the possibility of successful candidates being in residence at one of these facilities; however, our experimental program also involves measurements at other facilities including the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory and TRIUMF.

All positions are for two years with the possible addition of a third year.
